EDITORIAL GUIDELINES
Parenting is a journey that’s exciting, diverse, and full of challenges. As a trusted resource utilized by parents and businesses throughout the communities we serve, we set out each month to inform, instruct, amuse, and entertain our readers and their families. Our stories put a spotlight on parenting and family life, meeting our readers at every stage of their lives.
Throughout the year, we incorporate ancillary publications into the editorial calendar which help parents make informed decisions for their families. These include our annual education guide, everything guides, camp directories, and issues for new and expectant parents.
We recognize that parenting evolves and our editorial content grows alongside it. We’re proud of the content we share and have received multiple awards in recognition of our work.
Who our writers are...
Our writers come from all ages, backgrounds, and professions. Some make their living as writers and others are experts in their chosen fields. We also welcome input from parents who are living the stories we tell. While journalism experience is valuable, subject knowledge and being able to write clearly are equally essential.
Our content is real...
We provide high-quality content that is created by humans. Publishing AI-generated content is against our mission.
We welcome submissions…
We’re always open to fresh perspectives. Our primary criteria is simple: we want to inform and engage parents. Subjects can extend beyond children-specific issues but still should reflect what parents are experiencing and thinking about.
Queries should include information about the writer and the type of article being pitched. Written articles for consideration can be submitted to editorial@frg.inc in either a Word Document or PDF. When including artwork, all pictures should be a minimum of 300 dpi, or at least 1mb in size.
Submit an invoice…
Invoices for assigned articles and reprints can be submitted here. Payments are made 30 days after publication.
